92% Covid Patients Who Died Weren’t Vaccinated: Meghalaya Chief Minister


    The Meghalaya Chief Minister said that of the 749 Covid deaths in the state – the state with second highest mortality rate of 1.68 per cent in the region after Nagaland (1.97 per cent) – at least 691 people were not vaccinated.

    Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that 92 per cent of those who died due to COVID-19 in the state had not taken even a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
